My first experiences with towing came from a cousin's salvaged yard when I was in high school in the mid 60's. After leaving high school, I took a 2 year college break studing computers and mathematics. In addition to acquiring an education, I married my wife in 1969 and moved to Kingsland Texas where we raised 3 daughters. I owned a fabrication shop, construction company and a feed store, even built a few tow trucks. On weekends I would help my brother with his wrecker service in Brady. He finally convinced me to get in the wrecker business in 1983. A couple years later I sold all of my businesses and devoted 100% of my time to the towing & recovery profession.
